Job hunt got you down? Try a new resume design

It may sound crazy, but sometimes when you feel that you have done all you can do, as far as finding a new job, you’ve got to try something different. That something, may be to simply have your resume professionally designed. Some people can do this themselves, and some may need to hire someone, or ask a good friend in the design industry to help them out. With the economy at such a volatile level lately, you may not have the funds available to get a swift design done.

So what kind of designs are Human Resource departments interested in? Well, that depends on the position you are applying for, but overall, you want a resume design and layout that will make someone stop and say “Wow, that’s different,” and then keep reading. With so many people out of work, the cream of the crop are hard to find. Employers really have their pick of the finest in their industry when they do decide to hire simply because there are so many unemployed folks right now.

I’ve got a few sample designs below, but if you need more help, feel free to either contact me directly to design one for you or even to suggest how you can accomplish your own design by yourself. I personally do not like Microsoft Word for designing, but it can be done!
