Syl Wilson Marketing Chosen as Web Designer for Safe Return To Schools Covid Protocol Website

Recently Washington University in St.Louis commissioned Syl Wilson Marketing to design a website for the “Safe Return to Schools” for children across the country with disabilities.

The website summarizes the recommended best practices for returning safely to school, based on information from the Washington University Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities Research Center working with staff at the Special School District of St. Louis County, Missouri through the COMPASS-T project.

It has been an honor to have been a part of such an important and vital project during these unprecedented times.

The Power of Repetitive Words and thoughts

Manifest with Affirmations - Syl Wilson Marketing

Using Positive Affirmations to Change Your Life.

Taken from Stephens Hyang’s book “Attract Money Affirmations”

Remember when you used to repeat something over and over in order to remember it for a test? When done over a period of time, repeated words and thoughts tend to become permanent. By repeating your affirmations, your mind will give in and believe what you are telling yourself.

So how should you create your affirmations?

When it comes to affirmations you need to add realism to your intentions to be sure the brain will be able to believe and “trick” the mind.

Create affirmations that evoke strong emotions

Example:

Instead of saying I choose to wake up early every morning, say “I choose to wake up early each morning feeling recharged, refreshed and ready to take on the day”

MAKE SURE YOUR AFFIRMATION TARGETS YOU

Tailor your affirmations especially for yourself. For example an affirmation like “My boss will give me a promotion” is rather weak because that affirmation targets your boss and not yourself. You do not have any control over your boss.

Instead, opt for something like this:

I choose to feel that I always get quality work turned in and therefore deserve a promotion.”
